Our Story
In 2020, when the world shut down and students were forced to stay home and miss out on connection and community with each other, Liza and her husband Dave renovated their home to have a separate business entrance, and began accepting students of various ages for foundational enrichment classes focusing on specific and intentional goals.
The business has evolved over the years to meet the wants and needs of the local community, and with the birth of Liza and Dave's son Micah, who has Down syndrome, the need for more space and more diverse offerings has increased. Below you will find our vision, mission, and core values. Thank you for being here.

What's in a Name?
As a certified teacher, Liza has always had a passion for teaching, but also learning. When deciding on a business name, Liza wanted to be able to fill in the blank "Teach me _____" with a variety of topics she could teach, but also that she could learn while someone else teaches. Liza grew up as 'Liza B' (Baumgartner) and loves that it rhymes. And that's how our business was named!
